Client: Meadows of Beaver Creek - Board of Directors

Linda led a community effort to develop an open space improvement plan for MoBC. The intent was to develop attractive, naturalistic landscapes that reflect the character of Delaware’s coastal plain plant communities. The design was informed by data collected from homeowners via an online survey. Based on community input, Linda developed a schematic design that reflected the strong desire for trees, wildflowers and pond enhancements. The Master Plan document identifies projected costs, funding options, and an anticipated timeline for implementation.

Implementation of the 5-year plan is underway. The project received an Environmental Stewardship award from the Sussex Conservation District, and the Governor’s Conservation Award for Urban Landscape in 2022. Additionally, a successful tree grant application resulted in funding from the Division of Forestry for phase 2 planting.
