PRESIDENTIAL MOUNTAIN ECO-RESORT MASTER PLAN

LBLA collaborated with Great Ecology to develop an ecological master plan to realize the full potential of a former campground in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, a hillside town near White Mountain National Forest. The 250-acre site has a 300 foot elevational change and diverse habitat, including a 20-acre lake, wetland, streams, evergreen and deciduous forest, and open meadow. The team conducted intensive on-site visits to evaluate the configuration of the current trail system and consider adjustments to allow for ecologically-focused recreation activities. The final plan highlights existing site features and provides a framework for ecological restoration to improve, enhance, and create natural habitats.
